Greenlight ranks in ‘The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For’ 2009
Greenlight has been listed in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2009, published on 1 March 2009. Greenlight is the only search agency to feature on the list.
Now in its sixth year, The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For list is compiled by Best Companies and takes in the views of 34,295 employees at 565 SMEs. The employee survey that forms part of the rigorous process assesses performance and best practice based on eight factors including wellbeing, leadership and personal growth. The guide is considered a comprehensive study of workplace opinion and engagement.
Earlier this year Greenlight was awarded two-star status by the Best Companies Accreditation system, marking the company out as ‘outstanding’. The Accreditation is an elite ‘Michelin style’ star rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement, based on staff feedback.
Warren Cowan, CEO and founder of Greenlight said, ‘We are delighted to be listed in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For. We aim to create a welcoming and comfortable working environment for our staff and are really pleased that they enjoy working here. This is great feedback for the agency.’
Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies said, ‘This award highlights the achievements of organisations with good leadership and high levels of employee engagement – factors that are even more important in these uncertain times. Companies that secured their place on The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For lists are among the very best employers in the country and we congratulate them on their achievement.’
This latest accomplishment follows Greenlight’s success in the 2008 Sunday Times Tech Track 100, where the agency was ranked as the 21st fastest growing private technology company in the UK.
