Greenlight picks up NatMag paid search brief

Cosmopolitan MagazineGreenlight has been appointed by the National Magazine Company to handle its paid search account. The account was previously held by i-level.

NatMag is one of the UK’s leading consumer magazine publishers with a portfolio of nineteen titles, including well established brands such as Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Harper’s Bazaar.

Greenlight’s first task will be to develop a Christmas campaign to promote subscriptions to the NatMag titles in the run up to the festive period. The agency’s paid search division will apply two of its proprietary paid search technologies, Quant™ and Adapt™ to the account. Adapt™ works with client inventories and stock levels to ensure Pay Per Click (PPC) adverts created for display in search engines are always 100% accurate in terms of product specs, pricing and availability, elements crucial to a Christmas campaign. Quant™ uses artificial intelligence and learning algorithms in order to deliver a highly efficient paid search campaign by optimising spend. The campaign will be rolled out at the end of September.

This appointment extends Greenlight’s work with the publisher, as the agency also delivers paid search for its digital division, Hearst digital Network. Greenlight works across the spectrum of Hearst digital websites, including handbag.com, allaboutyou.com and getlippy.com.
