Kelkoo, Comet and Pricerunner top Greenlight's integrated search report for the white goods sector
London, 13 November, 2009 - Greenlight, the UK's leading independent search marketing agency has released its first quarterly integrated research report for the white goods sector, ' White Goods Sector Report - Q3 2009'. Each report consists of both natural and paid search data, to offer a fully integrated analysis. The report determines the most visible white goods websites and aggregators in Google natural and paid search results for Q3 2009, in the UK.
This latest research is based on 16 million online searches that took place between July and September 2009, for white goods related search terms across cooking, refrigeration and laundry and dishwasher products. The data was then used to rank the most visible brands on page one of Google's search results.
Greenlight's research analysed 700 of the most popular generic keywords for white goods. With 301,000 searches, 'Fridge freezers' was the most queried term by UK consumers in August 2009. This compares to 246,000 for both 'Range co achieved by John Lewis and Curry's with 61% and 55% visibility respectively. Of the top 10 advertisers, all ten were white goods retailers. This is a departure from natural search where the space was covered almost equally by retailers and comparison sites.
Greenlight currently produces quarterly research reports covering a broad cross section of industries including insurance, gaming, car hire, retail banking, travel and white and brown goods amongst others.
