Wallpaper and DIY all the rage as the housing market picks up

News reports about the UK’s improving housing market are picking up and so too it would seem are consumer online searches for home and garden goods. Between May and August, a monthly average of 17 million searches were made on Google UK for homeware, décor, furniture and garden products, reveals Greenlight's latest report covering the sector.

66% upsurge in online searches for cruises

The volume of UK online searches for cruise holidays in August rose a staggering 66% on May levels, reveals analysis of the latest search data from Greenlight. Its latest report covering the sector also found queries for cruise excursions on the UK’s river Thames saw the biggest increase compared to the Caribbean, Mediterranean and the Nile.

Audi and BMW top consumer searches for cars, online

In excess of 10.7 million searches were made by UK consumers looking for cars online in August, reveals a report just published by Greenlight. Audi and BMW dominated searches for cars. However, Vauxhall monopolised those pertaining to dealers.
