Santander looks to boost online presence through natural search
London, 17 June, 2010 - Leading international bank, Santander, has decided to boost its online presence by engaging award winning search marketing agency Greenlight. The agency has been appointed to develop and manage Santander's natural search (SEO) activity in the UK. The bank has tasked Greenlight with increasing traffic to its website while raising awareness of its products and services through dramatically improving its Google rankings.
Greenlight had worked with Alliance & Leicester for over three years until it was taken over by the Santander Group. Santander has made the decision to retain Greenlight's SEO expertise; thus transferring the success produced for Alliance & Leicester to the newly formed, Santander UK plc. Santander carefully selected Greenlight following a four way procurement process, in which the search firm was chosen over other agencies such as Tamar, Carat and Bigmouthmedia.
