Greenlight scoops its third Search award of the year at the Dadi’s

Greenlight has scooped two awards at this year's Dadi Awards, for implementing a successful search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign for RS Components. Greenlight was awarded two Dadi's for "Best Media Strategy" and "Best Retail Website or Campaign" in recognition of results the agency helped its client achieve. This, alongside a gong at The Digitals, sees the agency notch up three search awards this year.  

Greenlight joined the elite of the UK's digital industry at the Dadi Awards dinner held last night at the Marriott Grosvenor Square, London. Now in their 7th year, the awards recognise digital excellence, reward effective digital strategies and campaigns and celebrate companies at the forefront of this industry.

RS is the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, operating in 32 countries and offering more than 550,000 products to over one million customers. RS is a multi-channel business with over 50% of global revenues generated online.

Using Hydra, its proprietary cloud-based analytics and strategy focused platform, Greenlight  took a 'data first' approach, to first determine where time and effort should be applied to ensure maximum return for RS Components in the UK, France (FR) and German (DE) online markets.

Greenlight was able to determine RS Components' SEO visibility for the B2B retailer's keyword set. Hydra then highlighted RS Components organic visibility for the sets of keywords, and further showed the potential market share each keyword set held. This allowed Greenlight to make informed decisions about which SEO keyword sets to target.

This drove real returns for RS Components which achieved a 1076% increase in Google UK for product searches, a 409% increase in working day revenue and a 489% increase in overall revenue.

In conjunction with the 'data first' approach, Greenlight launched creative outreach campaigns and press releases, to improve customer relationships with RS Components' target market.

Greenlight's achievement follows a string of accolades, award nominations - nineteen in total, and wins, which the agency has earned.

Earlier in the year, Greenlight picked up a gong at the The Digitals for the 'Web Analytics & Optimisation' category, for its unique approach to Paid Search which resulted in extraordinary results for L&G Investments. The awards celebrate the best of digital marketing and ecommerce from around the globe.

More recently, the agency has also just been shortlisted for six UK Search Awards in recognition of the exemplary results it has delivered for its clients. The categories include:

-          Best use of Search - Finance (for L&G Investments)

-          Best PPC Campaign (for L&G Investments)

-          Best SEO Campaign (for RS Components

-          Best Use of PR in a search campaign (for LV=)

Meanwhile, Hydra, the agency's search marketing technology platform, has been nominated in two categories, "Innovation" and "Best SEO Software", winners to be announced in November.
