Andreas Pouros appointed as CEO of Greenlight Digital

Greenlight Digital, the independent, fully integrated digital agency, has announced the appointment of Andreas Pouros as CEO. This comes as Greenlight Digital's previous CEO, Warren Cowan, takes on the position as Executive Chairman, which will see him continue to work closely with the agency and its Board of Directors, which he'll continue to hold a seat on.

Andreas Pouros has been with Greenlight Digital since the start; he co-founded the agency in 2001 and was immediately appointed as COO. During his 16-year tenure at Greenlight Digital, he has committed himself to developing, expanding and improving the services it offers. Currently, the agency covers a multitude of disciplines; organic search (SEO), digital PR, outreach, content marketing, user experience and conversion rate optimisation (CRO), affiliate marketing, data analytics, paid social, paid search and shopping, programmatic display, enterprise systems integration, data science and audience insights, and creative.

In his role as CEO, Andreas will continue to develop the agency's core proposition, commenting: "My focus and commitment is anchored on steering Greenlight Digital to be the agency of the future; to be an agency which can deliver growth and transformation in a world where digital is fast becoming the norm for brands". Supporting Andreas in his new role as CEO will be Simon Newton, who will take on the role of Greenlight Digital's newly-appointed CFO. Simon has been with the agency for over six months, having joined as Financial Director. Simon has over a decade's worth of agency-side experience, and has been instrumental in guiding strategic decision-making agency wide. Simon will also be joining the agency's Board of Directors, made up of: Hannah Kimuyu, Director of Paid Media; Adam Bunn, Director of SEO & Social Media; Matthew Whiteway, Client Services Director; Matt Garbutt, Creative Director; Kevin Murray, CTO; Tom Lidbetter, Operations Director; Warren Cowan, Executive Chairman; and Andreas Pouros, CEO.
