On The Edge Live is a one-day digital marketing conference bringing together the most inspirational and successful speakers from the digital world. Greenlight's very own Director of Paid Media, Hannah Kimuyu was invited to speak at the event, on the topic of why a multi-device strategy is critical if you're going to grow in Search.

Hannah is responsible for managing and delivering Greenlight's Paid Media strategy for all clients. Through this role she also consults for some of our largest international clients, in the financial services, retail and travel sectors. Hannah's in-depth experience of the industry therefore enabled her to offer some fascinating insights for attendees on the day.

  • Digital advertising in the UK was worth £5.4 billion by the end of 2012 - up 12.5% from £4.8 billion in 2011
  • By the end of 2012, mobile accounted for 9.7% of all digital ad spend compared to 1.1% in 2009.
  • This year mobile has become the biggest growing channel seeing up to 30% YoY growth in both Search and Display.
  • 21% of consumers would rather give up TV than their smartphones
