Greenlight lines up biggest names in the Search and Social Space for Christmas Conference
Christmas comes early for digital marketers as Greenlight hosts its Christmas Conference tomorrow, Thursday 5 July, in central London.
Greenlight has lined up a panel of representatives from the biggest names in the Search and Social Media space (Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Kred, Sysomos, Criteo, Hydra), to provide critical insight to retailers on why they should be planning Christmas campaigns around their Search and Social media platforms.
Over 100 delegates are attending - from Ecommerce managers, analysts, heads of marketing to social media and PR specialists.
Brands represented include Waitrose, Tesco, Debenhams, Argos, Coast, Laura Ashley, Net-a-Porter, Harvey Nichols, Tui Travel plc., Kelkoo, TM Lewin & Sons, Barclays, HSBC Bank plc., American Airlines, Radisson Edwardian Hotels, Nokia, Yahoo!, Talk Mobile, to name a few.
Chris Bland, client services director at Greenlight comments:
"We know how important Christmas is for retailers, with many making more than 40% of their annual profits over the festive season. Having a well thought out Search and Social strategy can make the difference between having a prosperous season and falling behind. With £7.9 billion spent online in the UK over December 2011, it is imperative to have a successful online strategy in place for Christmas 2012."
The event forms part of a Christmas campaign which Greenlight is running to help give digital marketers a head start with planning their marketing campaigns.
Greenlight's Christmas campaign, which kicks off Monday 9 July and runs through to Friday 20 July, will be in the format of an interactive Digital Advent Calendar. Each day, an insightful digital marketing tip can be unlocked. There will also be prizes given away daily, including iPods, iPhones Nespresso machines, to get marketers into the Christmas spirit.
Greenlight will also unveil the launch of its pay-for-performance social media pricing model at the Christmas conference tomorrow. Greenlight has the distinction of being the first and only major agency to offer social media optimisation within a pay-for-performance pricing model.
