There are hundreds of brands jostling for attention, too many ‘wallflowers’ going unnoticed and everyone’s eyes are on a select few AKA the ‘cool crowd’. Apple has posted a help document confirming the existence of their web crawler, Applebot, which is primarily used for Siri and Spotlight suggestions. The new crawler and acquisition of search analytics firm Topsy in 2013 is just some of the evidence that suggests Apple's intentions to expand its Spotlight web search.

As I trundled up to the quaint little library in my old primary school to vote in the General Election of 2015, I was hit with two thoughts in quick succession of each other: 1.
