Alicia has worked in digital marketing for over 12 years, originally beginning at Insight and Plusnet, the UK’s largest B2B IT supplier and ISP, where she led the web technologies and marketing team. She was chosen as the Brand and Marketing Specialist on the global mergers and acquisitions team and was responsible for transitioning the marketing operations of newly acquired businesses.
Alicia joined Greenlight in April 2003 as Campaign Director, to undertake the setting up of its paid search division. This role soon developed to Managing Director of Paid Search, where she grew the pay per click team and business from scratch, managing suppliers, developing new business and successfully growing the size and capability of the division. During this time she also innovated and managed the development of AdApt, Greenlight’s proprietary campaign deployment tool, that uses product feeds to build out and sync search campaigns with clients’ product inventories, as well as developing Greenlight’s Paid Search training programmes and Quant, Greenlight’s proprietary pay per click bid optimization tool.
Alicia handed management of the paid search division to Hannah Kimuyu in 2007, to use her expertise in a new role as Greenlight’s CMO. Among taking responsibility for the Greenlight brand, development of demand generation programmes, and affiliate marketing. Alicia is key in the ongoing development of Quant and Greenlight's proprietary software and systems.
